I don't have many pictures of Africa (you'll find out why in a minute), but somehow, that seems appropriate. Because of all my trips, Africa is the one with the most stories, the one that had the most impact on me. It definitely changed my life.

So, it's hard to tell about Africa without telling some stories (I was there in summer '92, by the way). If you've seen my other trips, you'll know they're pretty pithy -- for Africa you need to settle in. Grab some coffee, or tea if you prefer. Relax. If you really want the mood, put on some music, maybe Peter Gabriel's Passions Sources, and turn it up really loud. Fix yourself a drink. Put up your feet and stay awhile.
