Every day we went hiking out in the Yorkshire Dales in northern England, either on a semi-organized walk, or off stumbling around on our own.

As you can see, it's beautiful.

The day before the wedding, someone had the bright idea to do "the three peaks" -- it's a 10 or 20 mile walk across three of the major peaks in the Dales -- I decided on a shorter trip, and since it got cold and poured rain on the 3-peakers, I think I made the right move. They all straggled in sopping wet well after dark, by which time I was well into my evening scotch. Heh heh.
