the wedding
This is Stephanie (on the left) and Hatty -- Stephanie was the Best Woman. Behind them, once again, is the fabulous farmhouse.
Charles' and Hatty's wedding was absolutely idyllic - set in the rolling hills of Northern England in this quaint old church (you know, maybe 600 years old or so). All the men wore tails, and all the women had on the most incredible hats. And of course, they imported the priest from Dublin (a friend from school) with his beautiful bashful dimpled fiance. Maybe he wasn't a priest. Maybe priests can get married in Ireland. I'm not up on the techno-religious details. Anyway, it was a story-book wedding.
Hatty's cousin was responsible for all the photography, and he shot some great photos - including one where we had to climb out on the rocks in the lake, as you can see. Naturally, I'm the one on the end. |
